When the snow level drops, Government Mineral Springs north of Carson, Washington offers beautiful skiing. If there is snow in the town of Hood River, check out the Mosier Twin Tunnels trail in Oregon for amazing views and some peace and quiet. When the snow level is at 2,000 feet, Trout Lake School meadows is great for flat touring, open spaces and views of Mt. Adams.
